When am I asked to renew my PetBacker Sponsor subscription? Open
- Potentially uncompleted jobs more than 6 times the sponsorship value
OR
- After one year of subscription to the PetBacker Sponsor subscription
Why am I asked to become a PetBacker Sponsor? Open

You will only be asked to become a PetBacker Sponsor to further protect the interest of other Backers on the platform and to grow with us if you have accidentally hit one of the below: 1. The total value of potentially uncompleted jobs on platform is more than USD400 (depending on your location). A job is considered potentially incomplete when: a. owner cancels a paid job b. sitter cancels a paid job c. contact info was shared without booking Scenario: there are 20 owners that has contacted you on PetBacker, with 7 of them booked you while 13 of them has not booked you but have shared their outside contact info with you. 1 of the 7 has cancel a $50 job but didn’t book on other pet sitters on PetBacker, and you cancel 1 of the7 jobs worth $70 on petbacker due to personal emergency. The quotation of those other 13 owners who shared the contact with you is more than $300, then we will consider you have violated the platform policy which is $50+$70+$300=$420 and hence we will require you to become a PetBacker Sponsor to assist us on our advertisement and community program.
If you decided not to be a PetBacker Sponsor to help us on our advertisement, we will still allow you to use the Platform for Private Invited jobs as usual. We however would like you to know that Our system will automatically restrict System Assigned jobs to you. We would like you to know that the ratio of system assigned job to private invited job is about 50:1 OR 2. Repeated customers are lower than 10% OR 3. Repeated bookings are lower than 20% |
Can I get a refund if I used credits to respond to a job lead but did not get the job? Open
If you are a sponsor user and have used credits to respond to the job lead, but were not able to get the job, you will not be eligible to get a refund on the credits used if the pet parent has replied you.
Can I get a refund if I used credits to respond to a job lead but did not get any replies? Open
If you are a sponsor user and have used credits to respond to the job lead, we will refund that credit if you do not receive any replies.
Can I get jobs without a PetBacker Sponsor subscription? Open
Yes you can. Non paying pet service providers can still use Basic tier which lets you respond to a job as long as you are the first 3 to respond. The reason we do this is that we want to prevent spam as well as to protect our PetBacker Sponsor users who support us so that we have the fund to continue advertising and marketing to pet parents to give jobs to the platform.
How to get a PetBacker Sponsor subscription for my listing? Open
Get additional benefits and give your listing a boost with PetBacker Sponsor subscription. Here is what you need to do:

- Tap on "Sponsor Program"
- Make the payment.

The credits can be used to
- exchange for pet sitting with a discount
- exchange for merchandise like collars, T-shirts, pet toys and more via our newsletter
- pet sitters can reply to jobs even it has exceeded a limit of 5 responses (we set a limit of maximum 5 backers to reply to a job)
Pet care providers who are Sponsors will get 200 credits which can be used to respond to any jobs, even when it does not match the service type you offer and access to browse jobs function.
No worries ^_^, non sponsor users still have a chance to response to job leads after a grace period given to sponsor users for negotiation.
